Matthew Schulman

I started my training in the healing arts at the age of 20 in 2002.  My first lessons were learning Taoist Martial Arts and Qi Gong from a man named Damon Honeycutt.  Through this I learned how the body works when it is healthy and aligned as well as how Kinetic Energy (Chi) circulates in the body.  Before this practice I experienced pain on a daily basis and had man health challenges, so I also had the chance to learn from personal experience, the process of change and healing that is possible through inner growth and practice.

In 2003 I moved to Ashland Or. where I had the good fortune to study Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley.  From Paul I learned the foundation of my knowledge of the bodies anatomy, especially the fascia, that is the basis of my perspective in Massage Therapy and Yoga practice.

In 2005 I met my hearts teacher, a woman named Dianne Oceana.  I started working with her as a Spiritual Healer and then as my teacher.  She has guided me through the deepest personal growth and taught me about the energetic and spiritual nature of the human being in a way that I appreciate more then I can express.   I still work with her on a monthly basis.

I attended the Ashland Institute of Massage in 2006-2007.  This was when I actually saw my gifts as a healer wake up.  I was able to see how every thing I had done in my life was for this purpose.  While I was a student at the school I started to develop the approach to massage that I still use today.  It has been an amazing process of unfolding and learning from the work that comes through me.

The first Angelic guide to work with me came in at the end of 2008.  He went by the name of Mikial and he taught me a great deal about how energy works with the physical body and the importance of physical health and alignment on the “Journey of the Soul”.  He also held me in a space of deep, heart centered compassion that both taught me a lot and helped my own opening process.

In 2011 the Angelic presence of Gabriel started working with me and has been my primary connection to Divine and the guide I work with to help other ever since.  My work with him is an ongoing expansion ofenergy and understanding of what is possible within our spirit and our connection with God. (However you like to think about God…Divine Source, The Tao, Universal Spirit, etc.)

Through out this whole process I have continually studied human anatomy, cell chemistry, quantum theory, and have paid detailed attention to my experiences with myself and my clients to deepen and refine my understanding of the healing arts.
